Monthly Writers Meetup: Writing Ideas and Goals for 2023

Saturday, January 14, 2023, 2:00 – 5:00 PM UTC

Do you write? Do you plan to write? Come join me for a monthly writers' meetup where we can discuss anything related to writing, creativity, and productivity. To start off this monthly event series, let's talk about our writing projects planned for 2023. What do you want to write? Where do you need help? Maybe we can find solutions together!

About this event

Let's come together for a few hours of discussions and also some practical creative exercises. First, we'll start off bi sharing and discussing the writing projects we have on mind for the upcoming year of 2023. We dig deep into our creativity for fresh ideas. We dig deep into conversations to help each other out and power our writing. Maybe the other person already has the perfect solution for your writing problem. Maybe all you need to do is voice your concern and it eventual gets answered. Maybe. You find out if you dare and ask.

After some discussions, let's do a few practical exercises just for fun. Writers write and we will write a bit. No need to share the outcome if you don't want to. No need to write perfect prose or poems at the first try. However, you do need to give it a try and see whatever comes up.

The writers' meetup will be fuelled by some tasty warm tea, inspired by two black cats roaming around, and filled with love and laughter by YOU, the writer.

Come and discover the writer within you. Come even if you don't even know what you are about to write (or edit) this year. Come to discover. It's more fun together!

About me: my professional background is in translation and different forms of writing. I have been writing stories since I was 9. I took it as far acquiring an MA in Creative Writing and have written all kinds of stories, self-published on Amazon, participated in NaNoWriMo writing challenges, written several books (not al of them yet published) on creative writing, recorded my own writing podcast, and listened to hundreds of hours of writing podcasts. Believe me, I have thought a lot about writing and would be happy to share my insights with you! I also truly believe that you have a new perspective to offer. Do come and share.

Note that this event will be happening at my home where two black cats also live. If you decide to come, please at least tolerate cats and if you have an allergy, prepare accordingly.
