We meet at 09:00am at the Valley Station of the Fürenalp cable car to hike up to the restaurant at the top, where we'll eat lunch. Hike duration around 3 hours. Possibility to take the cable car and meet us at the restaurant around 12:30 for lunch. Later we'll take the cable car down to the Valley station. The precise location will be disclosed in the confirmation email after you RSVPed.
We are going to spend a fun day out, hiking up the Fürenalp in Engelberg! Meeting Point and Time: We meet at 09:00 am at the Valley Station of the Fürenalp cable car, to hike up together. This will take us about 3 hours, the difference in elevation is about 800 meters Description of the hike: https://www.fuerenalp.ch/en/stauber 12:30 pm: we eat lunch together at the Fürenalp Restaurant. Possibility to come up by cable car to meet us there and join us for lunch at the restaurant. Finishing time /Departure is open, so that you can stay as long as you wish. We'll be getting down by cable car. Cable car price: CHF 12.50 for a single ride, CHF 16.50 for a return ticket. Transport: By private car, car sharing can be arranged in the telegram group for that hike. Arrival per public transport is also possible. Weather: as the hike is in a mountainous region it is very dependant on the weather. We'll decide by Friday 12:00pm if the hike is going to take place or not.
